Introduction:

Welcome to "Look Out," a discipleship guide designed to help plant and water the seeds of a Great Commission lifestyle in the lives of God’s people.

Our hope is that as you these lessons you will develop a hunger to live on mission, and the habit of sharing your faith, making disciples, and stewarding your resources for God’s Kingdom and glory!

Biblical Foundations:

When you placed your faith in Christ, you not only received a new identity as God's child but also a new purpose as His witness and ambassador.

Acts 1:8 "But you will receive ___________ when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my ___________ in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

2 Corinthians 5:17-20 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of _______________. That God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people's sins against them. And he has committed to us the ______________ of reconciliation. Describe how this understanding has transformed your daily life, your interactions with others, and your sense of purpose. Share a recent experience where you had the opportunity to be a witness and how you approached it.

This week we want to put these truths into practice. Every day this week pray this to start your day: "Lord, help me to see myself as Your witness and ambassador today. Open my eyes to the opportunities You are placing before me to represent You well."
