Look Out // Lesson 2:
In Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the End of the Earth…
Introduction:
As you get started, catch up on how y’all are doing since you last met. Celebrate how God has been at work in your lives. How did it go praying to be a witness and ambassador this last week?
Biblical Foundations:
God has given us all a mission to be His witness and ambassadors. He has given each of us different spheres of influence where we live out that calling.
Acts 1:8 "But you will receive ___________ when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my ___________ in ________, and in all _______________, and to the _____________."
Acts 17.26-27 And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted ________ and __________ of their dwelling place, that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us
2 Corinthians 10.13 But we will not boast beyond limits, but will boast only with regard to the _______________ God ____________ to us, to _________ even to you.
Questions for Discussion: What stands out to you about these verses? What are some “areas of influence” has God assigned to you?
Modeling:
For the Leader: Share about your own areas of influence where God has called you to be an ambassador and a witness. What does this look like for you?
Together: Map out each of your areas of influence in this season:
Family
Friends
Neighbors
Co-workers/Classmates
Where do you eat?
Where do you play?
Other: _________
For each sphere, answer these questions:
Who in this sphere needs to hear about Jesus?
What unique opportunities do I have to be a witness in this sphere?
What obstacles might I face in being a witness here?
How can I be more intentional in representing Christ in this area?
Practice:
Begin praying specifically for 3-5 people in your spheres of influence who don't know Jesus. Write their names here:
